Hello, I'm Naomi. I help children build the reading and spelling skills they need to become confident, successful readers. Through specialist phonics teaching and carefully planned lessons, I help children make sense of reading so it becomes something they can enjoy, rather than something they fear.
To get started, book a no-obligation two-lesson trial.
In the first session, I’ll carry out a relaxed reading and phonics check to identify where your child is doing well and where they may need some extra support.
Afterwards, I’ll talk you through what I’ve found and we’ll arrange their second session. This will be an online trial lesson at the right level for your child, giving them a chance to experience how I teach.
After the second session, if we both feel it’s a good fit, we can talk about the most suitable Jigsaw Phonics group for your child.

Hello, I'm Naomi Adams, a UK qualified teacher with over 25 years of classroom experience. I'm also a qualified dyslexia and literacy specialist and an official Jigsaw Phonics tutor.
For more than a decade I've specialised in supporting children with dyslexia, ADHD, autism and other learning differences, helping them become more confident readers and learners.
Every child deserves to experience success when they read, and I'd love to help your child take that next step.
Why do small groups work so well?
Children are grouped by ability
Before lessons begin, I assess each child's reading and phonics skills so they're placed in a small group working at a similar level.
Everyone joins in
With a maximum of four children, lessons are interactive and engaging. Every child has plenty of opportunities to participate, practise and receive support.
Confidence grows together
Children quickly realise they're not the only one who finds reading difficult. Celebrating successes together helps build confidence as well as reading and spelling skills.
