Is your child finding reading harder that it should be?
You’ve practised the sounds. You’ve read together. You’ve encouraged, praised and kept trying.
But if your child knows some of their sounds but struggles to put them together to read words, guesses when reading or is starting to lose confidence, the right support can make all the difference.

Meet Your Tutor
Hi, I'm Naomi
I’m a qualified teacher and dyslexia specialist with over 25 years’ experience helping children develop their reading skills and confidence.
I know that when reading is difficult, it can affect far more than just the words on the page. My approach is patient, encouraging and carefully matched to each child’s starting point.
Through Jigsaw Phonics, I help children build the skills and confidence they need to make progress with reading.

What Parents Say
Naomi supported our son with phonics and reading in a patient and encouraging way. We saw a real improvement in both his reading ability and his enjoyment of learning.

Rebecca Hall
Parent of Max
Since Naomi began supporting our daughter, we’ve seen a wonderful transformation. Her reading skills have grown, she’s tackling schoolwork with new strategies and, most importantly, her confidence has really grown.
Danielle Bennett

Ready for some extra support?
Start with a Two-Lesson Trial
Not sure whether Jigsaw Phonics is right for your child?
The two-lesson trial gives us a chance to see whether Jigsaw Phonics is the right fit for your child — with no obligation to continue.

1
Reading check
I’ll spend time with your child to see what they already know, where they’re finding reading tricky and where they may need some extra support.

2
We talk it through
We’ll have a chat about what I’ve found and I’ll explain where I think the best starting point would be for your child.

3
Try a Jigsaw Phonics lesson
Your child will have a Jigsaw Phonics lesson at the right level, giving them a chance to experience the approach and see how it feels for them.
The two-lesson trial costs £70. There is no obligation to continue afterwards.
If Jigsaw Phonics feels like a good fit for your child, we can then talk about the next step.
Frequently Asked Questions
A few common questions parents ask before getting started.
Jigsaw Phonics is designed for children aged 4–8 who need some extra support with learning to read.
Children develop at different rates, so I focus on what your child can already do rather than simply their age. The reading check helps me find the right starting point for them.
You don’t need to work this out yourself.
Every child begins with an individual reading check so I can see what they already know and where they may need some extra support.
I’ll then talk you through what I’ve found and recommend the best starting point for your child.
Jigsaw Phonics groups are deliberately kept small, with a maximum of four children.
This gives your child plenty of individual attention and time to practise, while also enjoying learning alongside other children.
The Two-Lesson Trial gives us a chance to see whether Jigsaw Phonics is the right fit for your child before you decide whether to continue.
Lesson one is an individual online reading check. Afterwards, I’ll talk you through what I’ve found and recommend the best starting point for your child.
Lesson two is a Jigsaw Phonics lesson at the right level for your child, giving them a chance to experience the approach and see how it feels for them.
The Two-Lesson Trial costs £70 and includes your child’s individual reading check, my feedback and recommendations, and a Jigsaw Phonics lesson at the right level for them.
If you decide to continue after the trial, Jigsaw Phonics costs £140 every four weeks for a weekly 40-minute lesson in a small group of no more than four children.
There’s no pressure to continue - the trial gives you the chance to decide whether Jigsaw Phonics feels right for your child.
Jigsaw Phonics sessions are deliberately small, supportive and encouraging. Children are given time to think, practise and make mistakes without feeling under pressure.
My aim is to help your child develop their reading skills and feel more confident as a reader.
